We are former data scientists, engineers, and head of data. We struggled every day to find the relevant data to build our predictive models and analysis. Â We couldn't find the relevant business definitions and made mistakes, lots of them ...
We decided this was enough.
These are some of the values we live by, as a company. We work by them too. We’re building a platform and products we believe in, knowing that there is real value to be gained from helping people simplify whatever it is that they do and bring more of themselves to their work, wherever they are.

You know that beavers spend days building houses and dams in lakes. To some extent, they are the lake's architect and builders.
Well, we at Castor are building tools to help you move faster, better, and stronger in the data lake. We like to see ourselves as architects of the data lake, hence the beaver.
A shoe sole, a peanut, a jackfruit, a footprint, a cat's tongue or a sweet potato? People are full of imagination!
